About VTU
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is one of the biggest Technological Universities in India with years of Ritual of perfection in Engineering & Technical Education, Research and Innovations. It came into permanence in the year 1998 to cater the needs of Indian industries for enlightened professional human resources with solid experience and sound technical knowledge. University has very fortunately achieved the enormous task of delivering many colleges affiliated preceding to several Universities, with the different syllabus, various systems and new beliefs under one sunshade.The university has 202 affiliated colleges, one major college and 17 Autonomous colleges with undergraduate courses in 35 drills, PG program in 94 disciplines and PhD M.sc with research programs in 592 departments, over four lakhs Engineering Students study in the various institutes affiliated to the University. In the year 2011-12 tailgated by online help like delivery of question papers to affiliated colleges, results announcement, photocopy availability, PG programs thesis valuation, PhD thesis VTU revaluation and Examination Results published on Mobile Phone through SMS.
